No β€” Settled works entirely via SMS. Your tenants text a dedicated phone number exactly like they'd text anyone. There's nothing to download, no account to create, and it works on every phone.
What happens after the AI triages a request?
You receive an instant notification with a clean summary β€” the issue description, urgency level, tenant contact, and recommended response window. You decide what to do next. Settled doesn't act on your behalf without your input.
Is my personal number really private?
Yes. Tenants only ever see and communicate with Settled's dedicated maintenance line number. Your personal cell is never exposed. If you reply to a tenant through the dashboard, it routes through Settled's number.
How much does it cost?
Starter is 9/mo for up to 5 units. Growth is 9/mo for up to 25 units. Portfolio is 49/mo for up to 100 units. Early access members lock in founding rates permanently as long as they stay subscribed.
What states does this work in?
Settled works anywhere in the US where SMS delivery is supported, which is essentially everywhere. We're currently onboarding landlords in California first, with national rollout following.
What if my tenant doesn't speak English?
The AI can detect and respond in Spanish. Additional language support is on the roadmap. If you manage properties with non-English-speaking tenants, mention it when you book a call and we'll discuss.
